All RemedyLED red light panels have 90 degree beam angles on the visible red LEDs, and 60 degree beam angles on the near-infrared light emitting diodes. The wavelengths are dispersed as follows:
25% 630nm
25% 660 nm
14% 810 nm
22% 830nm
14% 850nm
We find this to be an excellent combination as the 90 degree angle washes over your skin, while the 60 degree angle penetrates enough to stimulate healing without too much tissue heating. If you want to target just your face, simply adjust the NIR portion to zero. It’s so convenient! We’ve chosen this because there’s less spotting. 30 degree beam angles are in a lot of products on the market to increase irradiance, and if that’s your thing, go for it. But we love our red light therapy panels and designed them for less spotting, less heat, and a longer lifespan.
